So I've been up to a LOT of stuff lately, from hooping, to performing, to learning belly dance, to teaching Burlesque, to having a blast at Hottie Hoop Camp. But when I found out about a group of fabulous ladies doing great work in Houston, I just knew I had to take one more thing under my belt.
I discovered the Benefit Betties in February when I was approached about performing a hoop dance at a ball. I'm a ham so I agreed immediately, and when I read more about the Benefit Betties, all I could think was "I NEED to be a part of this group". What are the Betties? A non profit charity organization that helps groups involving women, animals, and soldiers. Sort of like a Junior League for hip ladies! Words cannot express how excited I am to be a part of all that they do.
So what can YOU do?? You can come to our First Annual Benefit Betties Masquerade Ball!! Being held at Avant Garden in Houston, there will be pinups, burlesque, hoop dance, belly dance, a fashion show, booze, a photo booth, and SO much more! PLUS the money is going to a great cause, so you get a fun night out while doing some good. And you get a reason to wear that fancy, swanky dress that I just know you've been dying to get back into. I'd love to see you there, click here to save yourself a few bucks and buy your tickets early. AND, go like the Benefit Betties on Facebook to see the countdown of all the lovely ladies. Can't wait to see you at the ball!
