Another Christmas season has come and gone. On one hand, I'm totally sad, because Christmas means time in Louisiana with family and friends, looking at Christmas lights, having an excuse to buy and eat lots of treats at World Market, the list goes on. But now it's January, and with a new year comes new attitudes. As you know, I'm a hoop dance instructor in the Spring/The Woodlands/Houston area. What's hoop dance again?
Pretty awesome eh? I got into it a few year ago and teaching it is a dream come true! It's amazing how something that started out as a kid's toy can change a life. So, to my Houston area Oilfield Wives, I've got some news for ya, I'm doing a free class!
At the Whole Foods Market Kirby in Houston, on January 19th, I'll be participating in the Sweat and Snack event! All day long they will have an array of FREE classes for the public to try, from yoga to Zumba to hoop dance! Come and introduce yourself to me, I'd love to meet more oilfield ladies out here. Here's the link for more info, click here, then the sweat and snack tab!
Tell me how your holidays were, and what you're looking forward to most in 2013. For me, other than things regarding my dance instruction career, and hopefully getting preggo, I'm looking forward to my family's annual beach vacation in August. Is it too soon to start marking days off the calendar?? OH, and getting to use my neighborhood's pool lol.
