Extra, extra, read all about it!

This week a story and many photos about me and hooping are going to be in the local paper. I’m excited, but since I absolutely HATE having my photo taken, I’m terribly nervous about it too. I just hope I don’t hate it. The good news is that it will be great for business. This week we’re going to Festival International back home in Louisiana, and I am beyond excited. Here's to hoping it wont be 238593548 degrees. I can't wait to hoop to some rad live music. Husband is in California for a convention, and I don’t know what to do with myself. I mean, there are a lot of things I should be doing, liking working on another hoop instructor certification that I'm doing, or planting new bulbs, or getting a haircut, but its one of those days where I have absolutely no motivation. I used up all of my energy bringing some friends to the airport. Now I've been in bed since 7pm. Blah blah blah. This weekend we saw Cabin in the Woods. That movie was absolutely AWFUL. TERRIBLE. It was like a bad episode of Tales from the Darkside. Except that Tales from the Darkside is only 30 minutes long, and I don’t have to pay 10 bucks to see it. Mr Moviefone, who hates everything, even said it was great. We should have seen The Lucky One. Did you know I’ve never seen one Nicholas Sparks movie or read one of his books? Nope, not even the Notebook. I wish there was a news paper that only had good news. I'm tired of all the depressing stuff. I need new cheery music. Suggest something to me! Or even a good movie that isn’t completely sad. Old new, doesn’t matter.

I know what you mean about the news. I don't even seek it out anymore, since I just end up depressed. How disappointing that the movie was awful. We were going to go see it but never made it. Glad we didn't waste our money. I don't know if I have any good music suggestions. I did listen to a genre station on Pandora called "summer hits of the 2000s" the other day and it made me laugh to remember funny songs I'd forgotten.
