There's a lot of talk lately about bullying, specifically in regards to the gay youth. Bullying is one thing, kids feeling like suicide is the only way out is another thing. What drives me the craziest are the people who sit back quietly through all this, and then feel shocked when they're accused of passing along their crazy behavior to their kids, just because they happen to call someone a "fag" in passing, or say that homosexuals are going to hell. Everyone has been bullied, and most of us are still here. Why? Because we had parents at home who said "you're amazing just the way you are. Don't listen to what they say about your weight/complexion/hair/race/religion". Parents, you've got to teach your kids that homosexuality is normal. It's been happening for thousands of years, both in humans and animals. Christians, Jesus never said a word about homosexuality. Your kid could very well be gay! Wouldn't you like to show BEFORE HAND that you accept all people? Isn't a gay kid better than a dead one? Life is so incredibly short, why people spend so much of it afraid of people they don't know, I'll never understand.
