A picture I took in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester, NY. You didn't think we got foliage like this down south did you?
I know students and teachers will hate to hear this, but nothing makes me happy the way seeing school supplies in the stores do. After the 4th of July I made a special trip to Wal Mart just to see the aisles and aisles of loose leaf paper and highlighters. I just adore the fall. There's nothing like pumpkin candles and Halloween decorations to put me in the best mood. All of the great things in my life have happened in the fall. My birthday, meeting Husband, my first trip to New York City. Less than 2 months until September 1st, which means less than 2 months until my house looks like a leaf bag exploded inside of it. Excellent :)

ha, i'd settle for some summer here in the midwest first.
Fall is...without a doubt...the best season. I, personally, love the cold, rain, and early nights.
haha my husband (a teacher) and I were at Wal-mart tonight, and upon see the rows of pencils, papers, scissors, and glue...he let out a big groan and said...already??
Yes! School supplies were always my favorite when I was in school too. I actually was sad when I graduated and no longer got to spend time choosing just the right folders for the new year.
I had a post a few weeks ago about chosing just the right lunch box too...

wow I'm a hooker - totally just remembered that you read my lunchbox post. By the way - I agree that those bento boxes are pretty damn cute; as a kid I wouldn't have found them so exciting though.
What a gorgeous picture. I can't wait for fall too - not a huge fan of summer! :)
I love school and office supplies as well. I just got some cardboard magazine files and its like Christmas down in the basement office :)
@stacie, you are welcome to have our summer! :)
@Paul, yes, the early nights is what makes Fall so excellent. It's like, "Oh crap, it's getting dark, must me late. NOPE, it's 5pm!". Awesome :)
@Bekah, I can imagine that must suck for him :( But a whole summer off has gotta make up for it lol!
@Bee, exactly! When I see the school supplies, all I want to do is buy them up, but with no school, that would be a waste of money lol. Maybe I should go back!
@Lidian, ever since I was a kid, I can remember going into office depot with my dad, I think that's where my obsession with office supplies comes from lol.
fall is full of color, but that is just a precurser to winter, and that dirty four letter word,SNOW.
nice to know I'm not the only one who is obsessed with autumn. Beautiful picture. New England in the fall is the best.
