So the 4th of July has come and gone. And Sarah Palin chose this time to tell the people of her state that even though she has signed a contract with them to serve 4 years, she's going to quit half way through. She didn't want to be a lame duck. Um, honey, in politics, everyone is always the lame duck at some point. You don't just quit. Now, if she's doing this to run for office in 2012, well, does that even make sense? Karl Rove, a man I never thought I would agree with, said, "Effective strategies in politics are ones that are so clear and obvious that people can grasp. It's not clear what she's doing and why," and he's absolutely correct. No one gets it, so now it's just a game of wait and see. Honestly? I really do hope she runs for president. Just thinking about the silly excuses she would give for her behavior cheers me up.
My wrists are killing me. I assume it's from all of the crafting I've been doing. I've decided to do this 50 Crafts for 2009 challenge, and at first it seemed as though it would be a cake walk, but I realize now that it won't be. I haven't even come up with 50 different things yet! On a happier note, I can actually work my sewing machine now. Anyway, here's my new favorite thing I've "crafted" (really just decoupaged).
Keep an eye on my Flickr if you're interested in seeing my 50 Crafts progress!
