Oh facebook, thanks for the fun!

LOLedit1
LOLedit2

So yesterday, during the Michael Jackson "is he or isn't he" mayhem, my sister in law posted on Facebook that she was waiting until it was confirmed by CNN. Nothing wrong with that. Well, this guy she is "friends" with starts ranting on her status about how CNN caused soldiers to be killed. I didn't know what he was talking about, or how that pertained to the topic at hand, so I asked for a source. That's when he lost his mind and started saying that the Says family were a bunch of ignorant liberals, then proceeded in an IM with my sister in law to say that he hopes we all end up poor since that's the only reason to vote democrat, among other things. All because I asked for a source! Read the images above for the other LOL's, like how fox news is neutral. I've hidden the names of the other parties involved, to protect the innocent and the one absolute moron. I was initially angry, because who starts talking crap about someone's family, especially someone they don't even know?! Then I realized I could use it as material for the blog! Gotta get my entertainment where I can, right? Husband on the other hand...quite pissed, and rightly so! Anyway, I know today was supposed to be the start of my "morons who comment in the local paper" series, but this was better. Have a great weekend everyone!

@Kat, LOL, I want to hang out with him in real life and see how he behaves! I'm a masochist.

Does he even remember when Geraldo Rivera over at Fox News revealed troop positions in the 2003 march to Baghdad. You don't talk shit about someone's family over which media source is more reliable. What a psychopath. Oh and here's a source on the Geraldo thing, and guess where I got it. . .

@TheSnuggler, I love that you post sources. You're my dream man! :)

Can we sit out on the deck tonight and drink and listen to Michael Jackson tunes? PLEASE?

That poor guy...someone took his much needed medication away. So true about "using the material for a blog."

It's always great to realize the "awful" stuff makes for entertaining blog material.

Same thing happened to me a couple nights ago. People got in a fight outside my window, and I blogged about it. Sure...I lost sleep...but readers were entertained :). Have a great weekend.

I too waited for it to be confirmed by CNN. CNN is probably the most reliable news source when it comes to breaking news. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case with Michael Jackson's death a lot of other news sources had his death confirmed hours before CNN. I think CNN walks a tight rope though, if FOX were to get the news wrong, it doesn't really matter they're FOX. But if CNN were to get the news wrong, then it would be a very big deal because they're CNN the most watched international news in the world (no matter how biased or unbiased CNN really is).

I waited for CNN too, and the New York Times. I am not on FB, guess I am missing a lot of fun :)

Wow. Just Wow. I am in awe of his ignorance and complete lack of a grasp on reality.
