What is it about the internet that absolutely makes me depressed about the human race? It's all so narcissistic. The facebook, the twitter, the blogs, and I'm right there with everyone else. We constantly update what we are doing, when we are doing it, and who are doing it with (that's what she said!), as if anyone in the world gives a flip. But personally, I actually do! I do like to know what my friends are doing. But when you start following people you haven't seen in years, and know what their every move is, it's creepy. I went to a party a couple of weeks ago and saw a friend who is on my friends list on facebook, but I haven't seen him in probably 4 years. But I knew that that morning, he had problems with his lawn mower. Where is the excitement when you see someone you haven't seen in forever, and you ask what they have been up to, because you genuinely don't know. Now, you know everything. I don't update as often as some others. I'm always afraid the one time I post "going to the movies" that my house will get robbed.

Long lonely day. Husband is working remotely from the office, so he comes home at night, but is still working 12 hour shifts. Better from here than from out in the gulf. Going to be a busy summer.

I actually don't post every time I am leaving the house for that very reason too. I like reading other people's random thoughts and what they are up to on Twitter - but when I think that you don't know just who is reading what you are writing, it kind of creeps me out. I don't want the sex offenders to know my husband is at work!

@joe-ann, No, I don't often get to visit Germany at all, unfortunately. My parents are going next year, so I hope to maybe go with them. Life is so busy, it's hard to fit in travel! But I love Germany so much, if only I could convince my husband to move there lol!

@storm, omg, I didn't even think of sex offenders LOL. A minute ago I could have sworn I heard guys talking outside my back door, but it was my neighbor in his own yard lol.
