Interracial Marriage vs Gay Marriage

So there's a lot of talk about Miss California's answer to Perez Hilton's question during the Miss USA competition. I wasn't thrilled with her opinion, but whatever, she answered honestly. I just don't understand why political questions were allowed at all. And I don't understand why people expected Perez Hilton to behave maturely. Have you read his stuff? He's a fool. They were really scraping the bottom of the barrel for judges. Keenan from Saturday night live looked like he just rolled in from an afternoon of basketball.

The more I think about gay marriage, the less I understand why people are so adamantly against it. The arguments I hear are the same people used when interracial marriage was still illegal. They used obscure scriptures from the Bible, claimed that it was unnatural, that the children of these marriages would be screwed up in some kind of way. Thank God for the "activist judges" of 1967 who declared Virginia's anti-miscegenation statute, the "Racial Integrity Act of 1924", unconstitutional, (Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1) which made interracial marriage legal throughout the country.

Mildred and Richard Loving

Were a lot of people against it? Yes. But if that hadn't been overturned, if we would have just gone with what the people wanted, my parents wouldn't be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a week and a half. My sister and I wouldn't be here. The "people" aren't always right. So how can I say that someone else shouldn't have the right to get married? How can anyone say that? Life is way too short.

"Interracial marriage"Its really an eye opening truth of the Bible to exhibit the love of christ and the Oneness of the Universal church.Through this providence we can learn about different culture and can prove that God is one and God is love. The photo is very encouraging for the concept of Interracial Marriage.

I really praise God for this wonderful opportunity of his love and grace to legalize the Interracial Marriage in USA.
