Just one of the bizarre people we saw.
Festival International is one of my favorite times of year here in Lafayette. Sure, we have Mardi Gras and all that, but this festival is the one that we go all out for. 5 days (of which we went to 3) of music from around the world, lots of food and alcohol, and much shopping. And it's free, thanks to great sponsors and lots of volunteers. It was started in 1986 during the oil bust, as a way to get people back down here. This year was the biggest yet, with 400,000 people. Needless to say, I am beyond exhausted, but so happy that Husband was here for it, as he wasn't last year. Enjoy some photos!
