I'm a hypochondriac. It's no secret. All I need to do is hear about someone being sick or of some disease, and I definitely have it. So imagine my horror when the talk of swine flu broke out this weekend. Coupled with the fact that I've had major allergy problems for the last couple of months of so, I'm certain I've got it and will spread it to everyone. Ok, not certain. The only thing getting me through the day lately is dayquil sinus and at night bennadryl. I've never had allergy problems before the year, and wow, no wonder people complain about it so much. It's horrible. You can be feeling fine, having a great day, next thing you know it feels like someone punched you in the face and you constantly feel like you've just been swimming and have water in your nose. Not good.
Speaking of swine, have you ever listened to Michael Savage's talk radio show? Is this guy for real? Tell me it's satire. I pray that it is and I'm just too dense to realize that right away. He makes Bill O'Reilly look absolutely sane and logical. He is convinced that the media is hiding the fact that swine flu originated in Mexico. What? Every news article/show that I've read or seen has pushed that fact over and OVER. He also thinks Barack Obama wants to be the emperor of America. Oh Michael Savage, thanks for the entertainment!
